Small but mighty

Skree finished up his meal just as the rain started again. He scurried for his burrow cursing the rain, though still glad it’d waited until after he’d finished eating.

(Thanks! I much prefer RPing with other people though. My charrie get’s boring after a while… So what happens is I start dragging the posts on and on. Cramming as much detail in them as I can. Uber long Nova posts… They were actually good? I was Uber bored when typing those, constantly hoping that ally would have the sence to introduce another wolf to stop her suicide… Well… It didn’t actually happen… So… )

Skree wandered up to the top of his burrow and sniffed the rain, trying to discern how much longer it was planning on hindering him. Deciding that it was going to be quite a bit longer, he ducked back down into the recesses of his home.

Tittering aggrivatedly, he brushed off the ceiling dirt that had fallen onto the scrap of carpeting he’d stolen from the humans. He then rearranged the ’tiles’ of broken glass on his back wall.

He checked the rain situation again, and found it no better. With nothing much left to do, he burrowed into his pile of accumulated fluff and fell asleep to wait out the rain.

Skree skittered out the second the sun brightened the hole of his burrow. He sniffed the air experamentaly. It smelled wet. He could also scent no danger. He skittered a little farther out. Time to scavenge for things for his home.

Skree appeared out of the grass as a ball of red flowers. he stopped suddenly and dropped his bounty. Seeing the other rodents, his whiskers twitched and trembled. “What might you creatures be alliancing for tonight? Surely you are not attempting to apprehend myself! Oh but dear… You have come from the general direction of my home!”

(Heh. Skree can be annoying. He’s putting on a facade though. Now the facade is gone.)

Skree puffed up, extremely annoyed. “So… You’re claming my home as your own? What if I don’t want that? Hmm? Are you going to kill me then, cause I really don’t recommend that. I’m a very good fighter and will definately kill at least one or the other of you!”

Skree skittered around them, leaving the flowers behind. When he returned to his position, he straightened up. “I’d like you to to avoid the area around the pond without my express permission. If you would like to use the pond, send a messenger.” Skree realized he’s be able to get somthing out of this. “Make sure the messenger comes bearing a gift too! Nothing big, just something. Do we have a deal?”

Skree puffed up in anger at both Skarlet’s and Luna’s words. “I will defend the pond against ANY intruders! And I am very good at it too! If you furball wnat to test me go ahead! I’ll fight you and I’ll win! Just bring it on!”

“Then why’d you bring big mouth over there along, hmm?” Skree asked angrily. “Seems like all she wasn’t is a fight! I’d like to live im my own place and NOT BE BOTHERED thank you very much! But I can’t have that with other rats invading my territory in search of food, now can I?”

Skree nodded assertively and scurried back to his den to make sure it had not been raided. In his hurry, he’d left the flowers hed collected.

Skree, with nothing much better to do, took a swim in the pond. There weren’t enough big fish to bother him, and by nature he was a pretty good swimmer.
